This project was a rebuild of The Blackberry Café's website, bringing the design up to date so that it works well on all screen sizes. Emphasis was put on making the most of the photos that were shot by Dylan Vaughan. The home page header was custom designed to dwell on the character of the café and its famous shop front. The conventional navigation on initial viewing is moved to an info panel at the bottom of the screen so as to emphasise key information for the viewer such as the opening hours. On scroll, past this initial section, the main navigation appears. The about page goes into more depth about the history of the building, originally owned by the proprietor and cobbler Billy O'Reilly who used to work by the natural light afforded by the large shop windows. Today this award winning café is renowned for its culinary delights made from locally sourced organic produce.
